Our Story
Who we are
The Epsilon chapter of Sigma Phi forms a tight-knit brotherhood, dedicated to upholding excellence in leadership, scholarship, and camaraderie at Cornell University since 1890. Within the intimate setting of Sigma Phi, emphasis is placed on individual development, fostering enduring friendships that extend far beyond the college years.
What we do
Sigma Phi is a fraternal society that represents excellence on campus. We seek to develop leaders not only within our own organization, but throughout the Cornell campus. We do so through giving back to the community via service and participation. One example is the funding and implementation of the Larry and Judy Tanenbaum Distinguished Speaker program, through which Sigma Phi has attracted such personalities as Muhammed Ali, the Director of the CIA, and the man that tightrope walked between the World Trade Center, to name a few.
