Our Story
Who we are
The Pan-African Students Association (formerly known as the Coalition of Pan-African Scholars) is a vibrant community dedicated to fostering solidarity and connection among people of African descent, allies of the continent and its diaspora, and scholars passionate about exploring Africa's cultural, political, economic, and social landscapes. Our mission is to create a space where diverse voices come together to engage with the rich histories and pressing issues of Africa and its diaspora, both past and present, inspiring dialogue, learning, and unity!
What we do
Cornell PASA is dedicated to celebrating and sharing the vibrant cultural diversity, rich history, and current realities of Africa and its diaspora. Through dynamic on-campus programming and collaborations with like-minded groups and institutions worldwide, we aim to foster awareness and appreciation of African and diasporic cultures. Our signature events—such as "Afrik: The Fashion Show," "Got Talent," "Taste the Diaspora," and "Black Community Chats"—create spaces for connection, education, and cultural celebration, leaving a lasting impact on the Cornell community.
